Rick is a seasoned finance and corporate development leader with over 25 years of experience providing financial and strategic insights to help companies grow profitably. Before joining Valant, he served as CFO at Opensignal, guiding the company through various growth phases. Rick thrives on collaborating with peers across the business to drive positive outcomes.

Rick holds a BS in Chemical Physics from Tufts University and an MS in Physical Chemistry from SUNY Stony Brook. He lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, with his wife and daughter. Outside of work, Rick enjoys discovering new dining spots, listening to music, exploring neighborhoods, and spending time with his family.
